06/06/12–Until — GOOGLE CHROME BROWSER WORK-AROUND:
It has recently been discovered that visitors to this website who use the "Google Chrome" browser may experience difficulties in viewing the intended web-page layouts on
this site. Because the Google Chrome browser ignores the various color background frame-boxes, this has resulted in the text often times being difficult to view. However, a
work-around has been discovered and is currently being phased-in to correct the issue. Unfortunately, with the large number of web-pages on this website it makes it almost
impossible to 'quickly' rectify this problem throughout the entire site, but the issue is currently being addressed.
Meanwhile, with the growing popularity of Google Chrome it is suggested that visitors to the website use Internet Explorer (IE) or Mozilla Firefox browsers for the immediate
future if the web-page appears distorted or difficult to read.

new format launched earlier in the year.

04/29/07 — New set of photos added to the PCC "Part 1 - THE NEED FOR A MODERN STREETCAR" page.
03/10/07 — New photo added to the "DETROIT'S DOUBLE-DECKER BUSES" page.
01/30/07–03/04/07 — All articles listed under "THE DSR YEARS" "THE DDOT YEARS" and "MISCELLANEOUS" (with the exception of SEMTA
HISTORY) have now been updated and redesigned into the new format. Articles under "THE PRE-D.S.R. YEARS" and "BUS ROUTE HISTORY" still
remain in the old format and have not recently been updated.
01/16/07–01/22/07 — All of the site's main "Index-Pages" were redesigned into the new format. The redesigned "Home-Page" was uploaded on
1/20/07. Additional article pages recently redesigned and updated are noted above.
01/08/07–01/13/07 — Most pages found under the "THE DDOT YEARS" section of this web-site have recently been redesigned. A few new photos
have been added and the font type and size used on these pages have also undergone a change. In addition, an on-line DDOT System-wide Route
Map is now included within that section, and two new entries have been added to "DDOT TRIVIA & STUFF" as of 1/13/07.
